Selected products of best quality are served in a modern-extravagant and traditional-sensual style in small or large courses. Our gourmet restaurant has been awarded a star from the Michelin Guide from 1998 up to present. Casual, easy-going, relaxed. This is how we would like to describe the atmosphere in our restaurant. Opposite of what most people would associate with a gourmet restaurant. We do not impose a formal dress code and you are welcome to have a bite from your neighbor’s plate. And sometimes the Chef himself will bring out the plates.

A relaxing evening with excellent cuisine and fine wines – this is what you can expect. Your satisfied smile at the end of the evening – this is what we aim for.

Stephan Krogmann

Since June 2019, Stephan Krogmann has been responsible for the culinary focus of the Relais & Châteaux house. He looks back on high-caliber stations in the Michelin star gastronomy, among others at the Gästehaus Klaus Erfort, Residenz  Heinz Winkler and at the hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich. For his French-influenced style of cooking, Stephan Krogmann also orders far beyond the borders of the "regional" from only excellent suppliers. For him, the best product quality is uncompromising. His kitchen is characterized by an elegant variety of flavors, which he brings to the plate in a light and modern way. In February 2020 he has been awarded as "Newcomer of the year" by the Gourmet guide "Gusto".

Opening Hours

Our restaurant is open from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. We kindly ask for your comprehension that due to limited capacities in our gourmet restaurant a reservation in advance is obligatory, both for hotel guests as well as external guests. 

Closed on Sunday and Monday. Tuesdays and  from September on also Wednesdays we offer our Bistro menu only.
Alternatively, please visit our Stolper Fährkrug at the River Peene.

Aufgrund der Verordnungen zu COVID19 bitten wir um Verständnis, dass zur Einhaltung der Richtlinien eine Kontrolle und Dokumentation der Personalien des Bestellers und Kontaktdaten der begleitenden Gäste bei Einlass erfolgt. Im Falle von Abweichungen zu den bei Reservierung gemachten Angaben, die gegen die Einhaltung der Verordnung verstoßen würden, bitten wir um Verständnis, dass eine Bewirtung unsererseits nicht möglich ist.

Ein Besuch in unserem Restaurant ist strikt untersagt für Gäste, die sich krank fühlen oder sich in Quarantäne wegen SARS-CoV-2 oder in häuslicher Isolierung wegen COVID-Erkrankung befinden.

Bedingt durch die Verordnungen sind einige Änderungen im Serviceablauf notwendig. Wir versuchen diese so wenig störend wie möglich zu gestalten, damit der Besuch in unserem Restaurant für Sie trotzdem so angenehm wie möglich unter den allgemein vorherrschenden Bedingungen ist.

Generell bitten wir Sie:
- einen Mund-Nasen-Schutz zu tragen, bei Tisch ist dies nicht notwendig
- sich vor Betreten des Gastbereiches die Hände zu desinfizieren
- wenn möglich bargeldlos zu bezahlen
- einen Abstand von mind. 1,50 m zu fremden Gästen und unseren Mitarbeitern zu wahren
- auf Abstandsmarkierungen zu achten
